When Za'Darius Smith was released by the Green Bay Packers, he was quick to sign with the rival Minnesota Vikings. After signing with the team to make sure he could play the Packers twice a year, it's safe to say his move was personal.
But professionally the move is working in Smith's favor, as he has already scored a sack this season against his former quarterback. His enthusiasm to don the purple and gold has shown, but head coach Kevin O'Connell was concerned there would be too much excitement.
After the win against the Packers, O'Connell said in a press conference his biggest concern for Smith if he would be ''too hyped up.''

The hype that Smith showed not only played part in his revenge game against Green Bay, but rallied the defense and team together to a 23-7 victory. Minnesota now starts their season with a perfect 1-0, and will look to continue their win streak when they face Eagles next week.
