Dru Joyce III and his Duquesne men’s basketball coaching staff continue to host recruit after recruit on visits to The Bluff.
Most recently, it was Saint Francis (PA) transfer target, Eli Wilborn, on Sunday as he posted pictures from his time at Duquesne on his Instagram account.
Wilborn — a 6-foot-8 forward — spent one season as a freshman with the Red Flash in Loretto, Pa. where he made an immediate impact on the second-youngest team in Division I this past year.
Starting 27 games, Wilborn averaged 10.8 points per game as he shot a team-best 54.0 percent from the field and compiled eight double-doubles. He also was a force on the boards, collecting a team-high 7.4 rebounds per game and leading the team with 47 blocks on the season.
The Middletown, Conn. native was ranked as the 26th-best prospect out of the state in 2023.
With three years remaining, Wilborn would be a nice addition for the Duquesne coaching staff to develop over the coming seasons. The Dukes are battling against a long list of suitors including, Clemson, Saint Louis, Ohio, Boston College and others.
