Week 8 NFL Picks
So the word on the street is that there is some big football game going on in Green Bay this Sunday. I’ll leave the insufferable coverage and build up to the rest of the national media but all I am going to say to Green Bay fans is that it is okay if you want to boo. This isn’t Jordan on the Wizards coming back to Chicago or when Larry Legend came back to Boston as a coach with the Pacers. Brett Favre is hyperconscious to his legacy and what he meant to the good people of Wisconsin. He knows how much you adored him and is aware of how much you defended him even after 6 pick playoff stink bombs and wobbling ducks that ended up costing you the NFC Championship game. He was a sobbing mess in his retirement press conference and Ted Thompson along with the rest of America thought he was finished so he turned the page and moved on. Favre has now taken it upon himself to grind an ax with Packers management even though he was the one who retired in the first place. Now you guys are put an an awkward position on Sunday and I’m telling you too boo guilt free, he brought this on himself.
